So I spent most of my Saturday night not having fun, but trying to get a picture to be good enough for the English transportation card, whatever it's called. Something about an Oyster. Anyway, I had to be NOT smiling, against a white background. After making my brother Nishan take about 10 pictures of me (I never liked them; I always looked awful. But he made a good point when he finally lost it and yelled, "No one is ever going to actually look at this!"), I had to fill out the form and then attempt to crop the picture to the right size. First, it was too big. Then it was not the right size and wouldn't fit on the card, as the computer kept telling me. And it continued to be the wrong size no matter what I did. It didn't help that I had a really old-school program to change photos around (no PhotoShop here). So finally I asked my friend Nicki, also going to London with me, to make it the right dimensions. Of course it took her five minutes and was fine. Anyway, long story short (too late), I applied for my Oyster card that will somehow save me money. Here's my fantastic picture:

Ugh. At least it could be worse. I hope.
