I may be yellow, but at least I'm mellow.

Okay, so I'm pretty much a coward. I didn't go back to Starbucks today, even though I told Starbucks Dude I'd be in on Wednesday. I feel bad, but my tendency to avoid awkward situations when I know they're coming is stronger than my senses of curiosity or duty to Starbucks Dude. Sorry if I disappointed anyone!

Poor Starbucks Dude. :(

Speaking from experience, absence and silence are far worse than straight rejection.

You should go back, march right up to him and smack him with something ... HARD. A bag of crisps, a tall coffee, tire iron, whatever ...

In the long run, he'll thank you for it.

It's a moral imperative.

I will do what I feel comfortable doing. Neither of you are girls, both Nina and Suzannah agreed with me. I think it would be way more awkward to go there again than anything. And you spelled honey wrong. And don't call me that.

Hey Tahleen! Are you looking for a summer internship for when you get home? 'Cause they're just beginning the search here at ...this place where I work (which I decline to state because blogs are so google-able)... and I bet you'd be a shoo-in...
